More about this scene

The focus of Cutcombe is now Wheddon Cross. Here in the old part of the village were once shops, a school and a pub. A Victorian post box sits in the wall on the right, out of view. The cottages, little changed, carry the names of former occupants: Crockford, Chidgey, Pope, Syms and Miss Bryant.
