My Dad Len King worked in Fords Factory before WWII. He played football for the factory too and this game led to his job. He then left to go to war and played football in the army. I live in Australia and can't do very much research about this so if someone can help with this era I loved to hear. Anything at all to add to my Dad's story would be great.
I went to Lymington school 1957=1961 met my wife at the school and have been married 51 yrs Mr White put a comment in her end of year report “being distracted “ hey mr white I was the distraction, eat your heart out my wife Joy Hicks was in his class and won a Italic fountain pen for her hand writing oh happy days
Sandwiched between the District line and Ivyhouse road was where i lived in a small 2 bedroom council house built for £ 200 quid with a shared porch and a tiny front garden and a long and narrow back garden ending at the district line it had wooden spikes held together with wire as a garden fence and a pear tree, sharing our porch was an elderly lady called Maude she lived alone and could not speak as ...see more
Hi, my name is Doreen Jones (nee Kloss). Are there any people out there who also remember attending Lymington Sec Mod? l left in 1963..used to be in Mr Jessels class. Would love to hear from anyone... happy days.
