I remember nanny goat common in the early 60s, it used to be between the Robert Clack school and Bishop Ward school and my school Triptons.I also vagely remember the Scrap Yard and Wakefields.I was at school with a mate Colin Goodwin, any relation. The Carlton Café was the hang out of the Grange gang, there was in the area, the Heathway Gang and the Green Lane Gang.
I lived on the field behind the scrap yard
