Richard Alibon And Eastbrook. 1959 1969.
A Memory of Dagenham.
I'm 67 now, and lived in Alibon Road Dagenham until I was 4 then to Standfield Road then to Croppath Road. I atteneded a great school, Richard Alibon when the head was Mr. Ling. Some of the teachers were: Miss Edgerton, Mr. Stanley, Mrs. Lutkin, Miss Moffit, Miss hart. Mrs. Lee was the school secretary, very nice Lady. I remember the great Christmas parties and sports days. Some of the kids were: Karen Cushway, Steve Cooper, Gary Walby, James Dearman,
Dougie Davis, and lots more. I then went to Eastbrook School. Not so nice there but you just got on with it. Some of the teachers were: Dickie Davis, Mr. Kelly, Mr. Allington, Mr. Mumford, Mr. Desia, Mr. Leather and others, and the head was Mr. Kerrigan. It was strict and some of the teachers were very spiteful, they got away with so much in those days, but not as much as us! They could be tough days then, but for me It was lovely!
