Memories of Dartford

I lived in this close as a child from 1953 to 1964. Fond memories of sitting on the green box at the end of the road. Also the tech fields. I live in Norfolk now but have been back a few times. Happy days

I remember Mrs (fatty) Parson, she put her foot through the floor one day much to the classes delight. I live up by the heath and took the penny ride to the National School every day on the 467 bus.

I have been trying for ages to contact my old shipmate Leslie Cambridge, he spent his childhood in Dartford /Bexley Heath & Welling. He married Winnie in the 50s and was my Best man at my wedding. Does any one remember me? John from Norman Mills the grocers I work there for 50 years It was one of the very last real grocers in the town. It was the first shop to sell frozen foods, and the first Health food store in the area. Well known for their (taste and try before you buy).
