The pyramid-capped tower of this Norman church stands prominently on a hill, and forms part of Davington Priory, founded in 1153 by Fulco de Newenham. The adjoining building, resembling a gabled manor house, incorporates the original monastic buildings that housed a small Benedictine nunnery.
