More about this scene

Two small boys can be seen riding along on the pavement by the George Hotel. The pub is still there today, and so is what is known as the Desborough Cross to the right of it. According to some sources, the cross was once part of the entrance to a local country estate. Further up the street is the Ritz Cinema, which later became a ballroom.
