More about this scene
Lying below Ditchling Beacon, this downland village has today become a fashionable commuter village, and once-productive farmland is now used as paddocks for horses. The village is situated at the crossing of the roads from Haywards Heath to Brighton and from Hurst to Lewes. Interspersed between Georgian brick and modern shop fronts, several old flint properties still survive.
