Lots Of Memories

I went to St Michaels school and church. I moved to other parts of Widnes then moved back there. I remember walking to church as a child and sitting in church not understanding anything as it was all in Latin then. My children went to the school and I was very involved in the church. Very happy memories of the school and church.

I was born in the house behind where this photo was taken from. I was born in St Michaels Rd 1962. the field in the photo was mine and my group of friends The Ryans, The Hodgkins The norths and Wignalls and a few others playground as we grew up. went to the church and school, remember Father Byrne Father Sybert and the school Mr Hardman Mr Hardman Jnr, Mrs Fallows mr Bickerstaffe who taught my class to swim at oakfield pool. Great times sadly all changed now field is a housing estate
