Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.
Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Shell Cottage Smite
A Memory of Droitwich Spa.
When I was under 7 in the late 1950's my parents & I lived in Offerton cottages just down the road from what my mother used to call the "Pretty House". The couple who lived there were a Mr & Mrs Dowdswell ( I may have got the spelling wrong). My parents were friends of the Dowdswell's and I remember going into the cottage. I can remember saying to my mother that there were even pictures in the (outside) loo... it was magical. We moved from the area in about 1960. We heard that the garden was attacked by some vandals and that Mr Dowdswell lost heart and did not repair it. I don't know whether that is true or not. It was truly magical.
