The principal Catholic church in Dublin, the Church of the Conception of the Virgin Mary. Since the 1880s, the church has been known as St Mary's Pro-cathedral. It was completed in 1821 in a Greek revival style, with a Doric Portico based upon the Temple of Theseus in Athens.
