More about this scene
St Bartholomew's Church was mainly built during the 12th and 13th centuries, but its tower is 15th-century. The rare snakeshead fritillary plant, which can be found in nearby fields, is depicted on one of the stained glass windows. The old school building, now a private house, dates from 1849. Note the old school bell-cote.
