More about this scene
Just along the road from Duntisbourne Abbots is the village of Duntisbourne Leer, named after the great Normandy Abbey at Lire which once owned the manor. Not much more than a large hamlet, Duntisbourne Leer is yet another photogenic and thoroughly charming Cotswold village.
