A Memory of Ealing.

I was born in coldershaw rd in Feb 1944. I later worked in Florence rd at hills garage.
I was about 20 to 21. the garage is now a row of flats houses called hill mews.
It was run by the hill family,Harry and frank hill. I wonder if any of the family are still
in the area. My name is Brian field .

I too was born in Ealing and lived in Western Rd until my teens. I remember well Hills Garage as Uncle Harry was married to my fathers sister. I also remember they had a big house facing the common and two daughters. I have a few b/w photos of Harry in his horse and trap with my father alongside plus their daughters wedding photo from when they lived in the Little Grange in Perivale. Last time I spoke to Aunt Win was some years ago when she was living in Sidmouth. Sadly I have lost all contact with any of the family since moving to Wales.
