Eastbourne, Terminus Road 1925

More about this scene
Just past the Midland Bank, looking north west, the elegant late Victorian shops on the left survive, although W H Smith has now moved on. The right-hand terraces with their shop blinds were bombed in 1943, and were replaced by the less interesting Arndale Shopping Centre of 1981.
