Eastbourne, The Redoubt Bandstand 1925

More about this scene
After the 'bird cage' bandstand was taken down in about 1934 from its location on Grand Parade, it was moved east to the Redoubt Gardens; it is pictured here with a band in full swing. It has since been demolished, while the Redoubt, a Napoleonic defence fort, is now a military museum.
