More about this scene
It is a fairly quiet day for traffic in Eastchurch, Sheppey. On the left is a shop advertising Coca- Cola and Lyons tea, and on the right is a garage and a café. Eastchurch has always had a link with aviation: the RAF had an aerodrome here, and the Royal Aero Club was based at Stanford Hill – it later became an open prison.
