More about this scene
Today Edgmond is best known for its agricultural college, now known as the Harper Adams University College. It was founded just over 100 years ago thanks to a bequest of £45,496 from a gentleman farmer named Thomas Harper Adams, who died in 1892. In 1926 the college also became the home for the National Institute of Poultry Husbandry.
