Hello Jean. My mother lived in Brook Crescent from when she was born in 1931 until about 1963 her name was Eileen Carter and she,her older brother Bert and younger brother Terry lived with their parents Albert Carter and Emily Carter. Mum and her brothers attended all the schools you mentioned. My Mum married my Dad Roy Butcher and as Mums brothers had both moved away they lived with my Grandparents in the house in Brook Crescent. I was born in 1953 and lived there with them until we moved away in 1963. I attended Fleecefield school . I have many memories of Edmonton Lido, Craig Park and Pym's Park and Saturday morning pictures at the Granada and the Regal. The Butcher side of my family lived in Town rd. So despite moving away aged ten I am Edmontonian through and through. I still remember the names of many of the families in Brook crescent and the kids I used to play in the street with.
