Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.
Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Grindrod Family
A Memory of Failsworth.
My Great Grandparents, Jim and Elizabeth Grindrod, lived at 10 Sydney Street, along with my Grandfather, Brian Grindrod, and my Great Great Grandparents, Michael York and Lily York.
From the 1930s- late 1940s, Jim was a Grocer's Assistant at a Grocer's off Mather Street.
He later became a bus driver in the 50s, then worked as a warehouseman at Littlewoods mail order, Marlborough Mill.
In the 50s Jim and Elizabeth moved out of Sydney St and into Alan Avenue where they lived for a few years before moving back into Sydney St. Jim died in 1974 aged 58 and Elizabeth died in 1995 aged 80.
