More about this scene

This flint and brick village on the downs north of Brighton is now severed in two by the main A27. The village pond is an old dewpond; it is surrounded by sarsen stones found on the downs. In the early 1970s, it was home to a swan nicknamed 'Fiery Fred' who attacked people.

Sparked a Memory for you?

If this has sparked a memory, why not share it here?

2 great characters on the teaching staff at the time, yet very different! Mrs Fleming was an energetic and lively drama teacher whilst Miss Woolnough was an old-school lecturer. I remember dozing off during her lectures. Does anyone have similar memories?
