The Guildhall was built in 1574 as a market hall; it was rebuilt in 1814, except for the splendid timber arches on which it rests, and which serve as shelter for the stall-holders and their customers. Just behind, and visible by the telephone box, is an ornate Victorian cast-iron pump.

My home town was Lytham St Annes where my mother lived and dad was in the RAF and met my mother there.
My Grand father was Alf Manuel of 1 Becket Street Faversham - not forgetting my Grandma of course.
