I hope that anyone left of my family can read this, as now being 72 , I lost all track of coming to Kent. My home town was Lytham St Annes where my mother lived and dad was in the RAF and met my mother there. After our marriage in March 1962 my wife and I spent a short while in Gillingham, living with my mother and sister. My mother was managing a branch of Stuarts the Cleaners and we were aware that a similar vacancy was soon to be available in the Faversham branch.
