The New Development At Feniton 1969

A Memory of Feniton.

I bought a new house in Westminster close in 1969 and moved in after marrying in 1970. The village was a lovely sleepy place then, very tidy and very friendly, The older and existing residents accepted the newcomers into their community with open arms. My wife and I joined the local dramatic society and appeared in a couple of productions, one being "The Taxpayers Waltz" great fun and very good reviews. I recently drove into our old close after 44 years, The estate was much the same as before and didnt seem to have matured as much as i had expected. Looking at the photograghs of Feniton from the fifties and the change between 1951 and 1969 it is interesting to note that the change between the next forty odd years was very much less dramatic.
