Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

My dad was born in 1909 in Flamborough. This photo is significant to me because, as a young man, my dad helped to install the winding equipment in the old winding shed on the left hand side of this picture. This photo has changed in as much as there are now not as many boats based in Flamborough. This photo shows the street on which we lived around 1948 - but before the houses were built! We lived at 15 Woodcock Road, right across from what was known as Donkey Lane, which was a short cut to the centre of the village and to the school. There was a fisherman's shack on Donkey Lane, where we could get some freshly boiled crabs legs to eat on the way to school. Later, in the early '50s we lived on Flamborough ...see more
