My Grandmother From Park Gate.
A Memory of Frizington.
My grandmother, Margaret May Smith, was born in Park Gate Fritzington, 18th may, 1881. Father William Irving Smith, innkeeper. Mother Martha Gainford. She died in 1965 in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, but had sisters in Selkirk. She was quite a character, in the English women's army W W I, moved to Canada then New Zealand, finally Australia. So a big hello to Frizington. Love to hear from you. Darryl Luchich.
