Returning To Fulham On My 70th Birthday

A Memory of Fulham.

I (Ken Redwood) lived at Wandsworthbridge Road from my birth in 1944 until 1966. I attended Marist Convent from 1948 until 1950. People I remember from the early years are the Cliss family, Joan and her sister, Jimmy Bishop, Carol Whitehead. Would love to hear from any of these people - or anyone else who remembers me. Also keen to find info re Harry Redwood, my grandfather who run a pet shop in Jerdan Place in 1920-30's. I currently lived in Melbourne Aust, and am visiting Fulham (Aug 2014) to celebrate my 70th birthday.

Have now returned to Melbourne after visiting Fulham and visiting many of my old haunts. Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me/has connection with my past.

Hi to Ken and Jenny Redwood, I too lived on Wandsworth bridge road from birth up to the age was five. We lived at 144a, this was opposite the chemist shop, where my mother worked, also up about 50 metres on the same side as the chemist shop there was a large bomb damaged area where my grandfather kept his car. I am afraid I do not know you , I was born in 1953. However you may well know my Grandparents and parents.
Grandparent were Ernie and Ellen Collicutt. My parents were Gwendoline Collicutt and Michael James Blake. My Email is mwooller@hotmail.com
