St Olafs Rd.

A Memory of Fulham.

I was born in St Olafs Rd number 22 in 1946. Remember the Wilkins, Tickles Everett Dwyers Harley Drewit's Fennells and so many more. I lived at 46 when I was married leaving Fulham in 1968 for the South West where I am still living today. Still consider my home as Fulham though the roots run deep 😊

My dad's family where called Barron. Any recollection?
I am sure I used to go to a church Hall in St. Olaf's to rehearse plays and also a pantomimeon one occassion.
I grew up in Fulham & first attended Sherbrooke road Primaryschool & after Fulham County Grammar. I remember North End road market where we used to go shopping. I was born in 1945 & I can clearly remember the number of bomb sites in the where I was strictly forbidden to play. There was a church round the corner from Sherbrooke road & I remember the bells on a Sunday morning. We eventually moved to East Sheen when I was in college. My family name was Howard.
