More about this scene

This was one of two viaducts on the Manx Northern line between St John's and Ramsey. The other was at Glen Mooar. Glen Wyllin was only a few minutes walk from Kirkmichael station, and in summer special excursions were run to it from Douglas and Ramsey. The glen was purchased by the IOMR in the 1930s, who added a boating lake, bowling greens and children's play area.
