More about this scene

The Rose and Crown, now the Rupert Brooke, has been extended at the front, losing the outside seating area. The change in name reflects the growing interest in Rupert Brooke, the First World War poet from this village. The nearby Grantchester Tea Rooms houses an excellent collection of photographs and exhibits about the poet and his contemporaries.
