Having Fun Playing In The Old Mill.

I was born in Great Bardfield on the 31st August 1939, and I have fond memories of my life in the village. Such as forbidden playtime in the old mill at that time. With Richie Morris my cousin ( who still lives in the village). Even swimming at the watermill hiding from Mrs Smith. Ot The War Years Che

I arrived in Cornish Hall end at the age of four when my family was bombed out in London. My brother, mother and a lot of cousins grew up in Sharpes Cottage and attended school in CHE.
