Further Memories Of Glan Gors
A Memory of Groeslon.
My brother Gareth posted the first memory on this post. I am Arwel Wyn, just as Gareth is Gareth Wyn, and our brothers David and Elfyn, and sister Nerys are all Wyn's too. Dad Eric and mum Morfudd were creatures of habit! We used to help Taid who was Ellis Griffith to till the land, he had a metal attachment to his tractor that Gareth and I sat on. Taid would shout 'hup' and we would press the pedal to get the cut hay in a straight line. We weren't bad at it from memory. That hay was then collected on the haywain with Gareth and I on the top as it got taller with our pitch forks in hand. Then off we'd go for Nain's supper, usually involving the thinnest sliced bread laced with local butter... Gorgeous.
I have so many lovely memories of a Glan Gors......
