Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

I HAVE HEARD THAT I MIGHT HAVE A 1X2 SISTER OR BROTHER LIVING IN HARLOW,MY DAD BUILT A LOT OF THE NEW COUNCIL HOUSES AROUND THERE,HE WAS A BRICLAYER HIS NAME WAS SYDNEY WALLACE WALTERS ,AND WE LIVED II SAFFRON WALDEN,THERE USED TO BE GANGS THAT WENT AROUND BUILDING THE NEW ESTATES,WE ALSO LIVED IN CLACTON ON SEA,WHICH HE COULD HAVE STILL WORKED FROM THERE,HE IS DECEACED NOW,TO INCLUDE MY SISTER JEAN WHO DIED,3 YEARS AGO,I AM THE ONLY ONE LEFT,HE OR SHE SHOULD BE ABOUT60S ABOUT NOT QUITE SURE.THANKYOU YOU PEGGY WALTERS KELLY,,,,THANKYOU

I realise your post a long time ago but I have only just found this site. My father too was one of the bricklayers building the new Corporation houses.One of his particular mates was a Walters though known as Ted{possibly a nickname) If this is him then you have two sisters,their ages would be mid sixties. They lived in Tanys Dell so perhaps old Voting Lists could help. The last time I can recall them working together was in Basildon,may or may not be signiicant
he was never known as ted,but syd,can you remember his hair colour pmk
