Was this bus stop in Old Harlow? If so I walked alone at the age of 10 along First Avenue to catch the bus to Epping and tube to Loughton to be at Loughton County High School for Girls in 1952 for 0830!! Then home again in sun and rain and daylight and darkness ALONE! My Mum didn't drive and anywaydon't think we had a car. Anne Hackett (nee Wells
