Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

In Victoria Park there are now facilities for BMX bikers, roller-bladers and skateboarders, complementing the existing children's paddling pool and tennis courts as well as the occasional fixture on a Sunday morning. Golf enthusiasts can become members of the Haywards Heath golf club and use their 18-hole golf course situated just off Portsmouth Lane on the borders with Lindfield, whilst cricketers can still enjoy the recreation ground next to the centrally located Clair Hall in Perrymount Road. Haywards Heath Rugby Club won the Sussex Trophy in 2003, and their home ground is in nearby Cuckfield, which is also used by athletes from the Haywards Heath Harriers during the summer months - during the winter they use the facilities at Oathall Community Centre.

Janet Ware Gift Shop In High Street 1950
I was 10 years old when my parents, Mr & Mrs Arthur Easton owned the gift shop called Janet Ware in the High St. Arthur & Ruby Easton, me, my brother John, 3 yrs, & my sister Rosemary, lived in the flat above the shop. We moved to Braughing in Hertfordshire in 1951, but I have memories of pushing my sister in her pram in the park.

Scracebridge School
I went to Scracebridge in 1957 as part of the "Grammar Stream" waiting for Haywards Heath Grammar School to be completed. The"Grammar Grubs", as were were affectionately known, received a pretty hostile reception, and we were instantly recognizable by our brand new school uniforms, and we were only pupils in the school required to wear it. Baldock Family At Brook House
I've always heard stories of my granny, Margaret Baldock, growing up in Haywards Heath. Her father, Arthur Baldock, was the gardener at Brook House as well as the village photographer in the 1890's - early 1900's. I've been searching for some details about this - any thoughts? This looks like such beautiful countryside; I would love to visit one day and have some first hand memories of the place!

Bentswood Road Area
Anyone have any memories or know anyone who lived in the Bentswood Road area during the early 1950s. I was born in Haywards Heath in 1949 and Bentswood Road is on my birth certificate. I was later adopted, but my birth mother was called Evelyn Mary Burlong who came from Lindfield and worked in the Cinema in Haywards Heath in her teens. Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
