More about this scene
The Swan Hotel 1926 The Swan Hotel stands on the outskirts of the village of Grasmere, on the A591, and was formerly a coaching inn on the main road between Windermere and Keswick. Like many Lake District inns, it was painted with white-wash to keep it weatherproof.
