More about this scene
The Blaise Inn receives a pre-summer season coat of paint. The George Brewery was established in 1702, and was owned and run by the George family from 1788 until 1961 when it was bought by Courage. Now a part of Scottish Courage, Georges' Bitter Ale is still on sale, though it is unusual to find it outside the West Country or Southeast Wales.
