Hendon 1969

A Memory of Hendon.

Wow, these photographs bring back some great memories of Hendon & in particular 80a Vivian Avenue in early 1969. For a couple of months then, I stayed, with the help of a little tolerance on behalf of the guys I shared the flat with, above the dentist. The lad's were Phil, Trevor, John & Stevie. One of the girls who came by was Mel & I think it was her hamster who absconded sometimes. Usually, a few day's later, there'd be a call from the dentist downstairs (who was also the Landlord), a really good guy, asking one of us to retrieve it; the look on the faces of the people in the dentist's chair was great. We were a sort of hippy bunch called the Hendon Heads. Anyhow, I went back up to Glasgow in May 1969. I took some beautiful memories of a lovely place & the best flatmates you could have. If any of the above read this I would love to hear from them at johncolinmoore@yahoo.co.uk
