Looking from Henley's superb river bridge of 1786 with keystones carved by Anne Seymour Damer with the heads of Isis and Thames, we see the boathouses at the east end of Riverside, which are still in use, and the houseboat grandstands. There are now two grandstands in the middle distance instead.
