Trying To Contact Anybody Who Was At Heswall Hospital Late 40''s.
A Memory of Heswall.
My father was a patient at Heswall in the late 40's. He was suffering with Perthe's disease (a disease of the hip) and he was there for about 18 months. His name was Alan Rudkin. He was a little blond haired boy at the time of his stay, I think he was about 6 to 8 years old. I'm in the process of writing a biography on my fathers life. Despite his illness he went on to become a champion boxer in later life. His time at Heswall had a big impact on his life and I want to find out as much as possible about it at that time. If anybody remembers him or was there in the late 40's I'd love to hear from them.
