Hodnet, The Hall c.1960

More about this scene
Showing many similarities in design to Cheswardine Hall (C503010), Hodnet Hall was built in 1870 and is the home of the Heber-Percy family. The gardens, over 60 acres in all, were laid out in the 1920s, and are open to the public. They are, I think, particularly beautiful in the late spring when the rhododendrons, azaleas and bluebell walks are at their best.
