Lose Hill, at 1,563ft, is the eastern extremity of a fine ridge which runs from Mam Tor. It overlooks the village of Hope and the gabled house known as Moorgate (centre right), which now serves as a Countrywide (formerly Co-operative) Holidays Association guest house.
