More about this scene
A peaceful view of Howth harbour, looking along the sea wall towards the tower and the east pier. Rowing boats are moored in the harbour. Following the transfer of the mail boat service to Dun Laoghaire, Howth harbour had by this time settled down to a quiet existence.
