Noisy Mill At Howood

A Memory of Howwood.

My grandfather James Waterson Robson was manager of a roller blind finishing mill which was situated at the bottom of a sloping lawn in his garden. I remember a big tree in the middle of the lawn and wooden steps that gave access, across a small stream and into the mill. Which was very noisy, I was very young, probably less than 8 years old. The address was Ladeside, Midton Howood. He died in 1949.
I did go back to Howood a few years ago but could not find the house or the mill where I thought it was. I'm 78 now so memory could be unreliable but I remember in pictures and I have several vivid images of that time.
I would be interested in anyone who can shine a light. I'm doing family tree and as is often the case long after anyone who could help in the family has died.
