Happy Old Times

A Memory of Humberston.

We used to go to beacholme holiday camp in the late 1940s and early 1950, a friend of my parents

Had two chalets there, one called Bailea the other was Marlboro, there was a shop next door to

The camp called Listers were we did our shopping, I also remember buses that had been converted

Into holiday homes. There was also music played through great big speakers in the mornings,

They were happy uncomplicated holidays.
