More about this scene
This fine church in Queen's Road was consecrated on 10 September 1879 and was named after Margaret Snowdon, the daughter of the vicar of All Saints' Church. It was the second Anglican church in the town and is situated high on the moor side of town. On the left can be found the three Panorama boulders thought to be some 3,500 years old, brought down from the moors in 1892. These Bronze Age relics are another example of Ilkley's past so very easily overlooked.
