More about this scene
The Parish Church 1914. Kendal's church of the Holy Trinity is Cumbria's largest parish church, and dates from the 13th century, although it was extensively restored 60 years before this photograph was taken, between 1850 and 1852. It has five aisles, two on each side of the nave and chancel, and a fine tower with a peal of 10 bells.
