This church in Kensington High Street was foundd in the 12th century by the Abbot of Abingdon. It was rebuilt by the Victorians between 1869 and 1872 to Sir George Gilbert Scott's lavish design. The spire is modelled on the landmark spire of St mary Redcliffe in Bristol. To the right we can see Kensington Church Street leading north to Notting Hill Gate.
