More about this scene

New villas sprang up along the front at Kents Bank on the Kent Estuary as the village became popular as a holiday resort. Today, Kents Bank is perhaps best known as the starting or finishing point for guided crossings led by the Queen's Guide, Cedric Robinson, over the treacherous sands of Morecambe Bay.
