Keymer is at the foot of the Downs near Hassocks. The Norman church of St Cosmos and St Damian was re-built in 1866. Ockley Manor is an 18th-century brick house, with a dovecote. Oldland post windmill is being slowly restored to a good state of repair. On the left of the picture is the signboard of the Greyhound, a Watneys house. It has a fireplace dated 1595.
